Microneedling - (CIT) Collagen Induction Therapy

Microneedling is a minimally-invasive non-surgical, non-ablative procedure for facial rejuvenation. During the microneedling procedure we are creating micro channels or tiny wounds in the deeper layers of the skin. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. Through the process of neovascularization and neocollagenesis, there is improvement in skin texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks.

Micro Needling is effectively used for:

Reducing scars caused by acne, surgery, or thermal burns

Fading stretch marks, Reducing fine lines and deep wrinkles, Reducing hyper-pigmentation. Tightening & hydrating sagging skin

Microneedling with LED Light Therapy

This treatment allows the technician to go deeper with needle lengths and adjust the level settings custom based on where on the facial and what the end goal is. Topical anesthetic cream is used to keep the client comfortable during the procedure. The number of needling sessions depends on the individual skin condition. Three or four treatments may be recommended for mild to moderate acne scarring, whereas deeper scars and stretch marks may require upward of five treatments. An interval of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments is typically recommended and maintenance treatments at intervals of 6 to 12 months. When utilized for generalized skin resurfacing, products such as topical growth factors and antiaging serums are better absorbed in the skin. Included with this treatment is a mini exfoliating facial 2 weeks later.
